  2. Installation dates are subject to weather conditions, supplier availability, and regulatory approvals.

  3. You must provide safe access to the roof, switchboard, and electrical areas.

  4. We are not responsible for delays caused by:

    • Regulatory approvals (e.g., ACT government, electricity networks)

    • Supplier stock shortages

    • Extreme weather

    • Unforeseen site issues

6. Customer Obligations

As the customer, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about your property and electrical system

  • Ensure safe access for installation teams

  • Obtain any required permissions (e.g., landlord approvals)

  • Pay all invoices on time

  • Notify us immediately of any electrical hazards or roof conditions

Failure to follow these obligations may result in additional charges or delays.

7. Warranty & Performance

We provide warranties according to the manufacturer and product type.

Typical warranties may include:

  • Solar panels: 10–25 years (manufacturer dependent)

  • Inverters: 5–10 years

  • Workmanship warranty provided by Austar Solar as per contract

Important:
Solar system performance depends on sunlight exposure, weather, roof angle, shading, and site conditions. We do not guarantee a specific energy output unless stated in writing.

8. Payment Terms

  • All invoices must be paid by the due date listed.

  • Late payments may incur additional fees.

  • We reserve the right to pause or cancel installation if payment is not made.

  • Payment processors (e.g., banks, merchant providers) may charge their own fees or follow their own terms.

9. Cancellations & Refunds

You may cancel your order in writing before installation begins. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to:

  • Work already completed

  • Materials purchased

  • Supplier policies

  • Administrative fees

Once installation has begun, cancellations may not be eligible for a refund.

10. Limitation of Liability

Austar Solar ACT is not liable for:

  • Losses caused by power outages, grid faults, or network restrictions

  • Damage due to misuse, lack of maintenance, or natural disasters

  • System underperformance caused by shading or weather

  • Loss of income, business interruption, or secondary damages

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the service.
